Day Spa

It doesn’t matter if you spend an hour or a whole day at a day spa, the following tips will be surely helpful for everyone.

Booking at a day spa:

The peak hours at a day spa are in the late afternoon and the weekends, so we recommend you to book your appointment as soon as possible to make sure they will have available place for you. At booking - if you have been to the spa before - you can ask for your most appropriate therapist, or if you do not know who to ask for by name, you can decide wheter you like a female or a male therapist. If you are booking at Spa&Wellness World you can note this at the „Notes” section of the reservation. The easiest appointmets to get are the peak-off hours, the mornings and mid-week. If you want to use a gift certificate, you should tell at booking to let the spa be informed and to avoid any inconvenience. So they make a query about your gift certificate and thely can also inform you about the use of vouchers.

About treatments and therapists:

Generally there are both male and female body therapists in a spa. There are some timid guests who may choose a therapist from the same-sex. If you feel like such guests, please do not hesitate to predict at the booking if you would like a male or female therapist. If you can name your therapist you can also ask for him/her of course in this case your appointment is even more specific so you may have less appointments to choose from.

Arrival information:

Please always arrive in time moreover at least half an hour before the start of your treatment. Here is why: First of all if you arrive just in time it may be already late as the reservation means the start of treatment, not to mention you have to prepare yourself and your body: dress, refresh your body and mind and have a little rest before your treatment begins. If you were late, the time of your treatment will be reduced on your charge, as there other appointments after yours they must start exactly. On the other hand, there are some spas where you have to complete a health questionnaire at the reception to avoid unpleasent results to your health.

If it’s your first time in the spa let the receptionist to tell you the details: where should you go, what should you wear…etc. Feel free to ask questions if you are not sure of the anything, they will be happy to help.

When the treatment is completed, the therapist or the masseur will leave you in the room so you can relax a little after your treatment. In this case, you shouldn’t stay over 5 minutes, because another treament will probably begin there. During this time you can dress up and have your drink.

Explore the possibilities: Upon arrival, if you haven’t been to the spa before ask the receptionist - if not offered him/herself - to show you around in the spa and explain where can you find this and that and what is included in the price.

If you cancel your appointment:

If for some reason you have to cancel your appointment, please let the spa know about that as soon as possible but at least 24 hours before your booked appointment, at packages 48 hours before. Most spa have their own cancellation policy, which contains the case of late cancellation fee which can be charged to the guest.
